    Brake lights too small??

Re: extra backup light He also has a nice short Yakima basket on top that would work for me since my carport has a low ceiling I dropped a Yakima Load Warrior between the rails and attached it with C clamps. It peaks out at about 6"6"[/img]

    Rusty's Air Tube

I installed one on my '05. The stock box comes out. The installation is simple and solid. There is a mean little groan under the hood under accelleration now. If someone wants to clue me in on how to post pictures I have saved to my computer's pictures, I'll try and post it.

No, I don't think it is there. But I did realize something kinda funny- The dealer I'll be picking up from is "Liberty Auto City" in Libertyville, IL.

    Ordered '05 Renegade

jjo- What is the status of your Rene? Mine is set to ship 2/1/2005. I was told previously it would ship 1/20/2005. It seems each time I call DC for an update I get a little different interpretation.

    Ordered '05 Renegade

Regarding status of an ordered vehicle, if you can get the VIN or VON (order #) from your dealer, you can call DC @ 800 992 1997 and they will tell you where it is at in the manufacturing process and the delivery date.

    Ordered '05 Renegade

I am getting my Liberty from my company (company car) and they said it cost less to order the vehicle than looking for one on a lot. Who am I to argue? Options were a Liberty, Caravan or Sebring. Do you guys think I made the right decision? I'm still loosing sleep over my choice (because I can't...

    Ordered '05 Renegade

I ordered a Rene recently also. The order went in 12/23/2004. I called the dealer today to see if they had a del'y date. No go, but they said parts had been allocated and they already had the VIN. Their guesstimate was that I would have it this month. They sounded sincere. In general, I have...

    Mounting lights on bumper

Hey, another thought- Does it make any sense to mount lights directly to the grill? Seems it might be easier than pulling the bumper (if necessary). I'm not familar with the mounting hardware supplied with the lights.

    Roof Rack

I'm familar with those as I have used them in the past. They are pretty much for adapting factory crossbars to Yak stuff. As of yet, I haven't seen any which could be rigged for this application. I'll check back early '05 to see what they have added for the new year. Thanks for the reply-

    Roof Rack

I have a Yakima basket I want to putt up top. Yakima says I need mounts and crossbars. I want to keep it low profile so thats no good. Any suggestions on how to tie the basket directly to the Jeep Liberty rails - preferably relatively easy to remove also. It drops snugly on top of and slightly...

    Mounting lights on bumper

Hello- I am getting my first Jeep (05 Liberty Sport) in about four weeks and am enjoying crusing around the Forum. I want to mount some lights on the bumper, Renegade style. Do I have to remove the bumper to do this? What is involved? What lights would you recommend for on-road driving? Tanks
