I can see the bearing is damaged badly, and I found a leak in on one of the pinion seals and when I drained the diff it barley had any fluid in it and I think that was the problem, I have the diff carrier out to get to it. Now I’m wondering if I have to measure backlash because I took it out if...
So the drive shaft diff bearring is trashed and I was wondering if I have to take the whole diff apart to get to it or is there a way to get it through the diff driveshaft side
I didn’t replace that because there was no play in the intermediate shaft and everything look good, I did replace the passages side intermediate shaft because of the cv being froze to it.
So I recentaly replace my cv axles on both sides on my 2006 Jeep Liberty I did install an ome lift kit on it also so that’s probably my problem there but everything was good until I got an alignment ,my drivers side cv ball bearing must’ve popped out and little and now the boot is twisted around...
Hey so I tried to Get the studs out, but there doesn’t look like there’s enough room to get them out unless you cut them or something, but even then you wouldn’t be able to get new ones in, the rear axle studs
My Liberty is lifter 2.5 in front and 2 in back, I bought new up control arms before the lift and just installed them into the lift, instead of getting lifted upper control arms, my question is will I be fine if I use stock a arms?
