    Oxygen Sensors (shipping only)

Hey Mr. Mudd, just checking to see if you ever received those sensors? Would be a shame for them to get lost in the mail after all this. Reminds me of another forum I was on many years ago for the Honda Nighthawk. There was one young rider that joined up and couldn't afford any protective...

    Oxygen Sensors (shipping only)

They were shipped to Mr. Mudd since he called first dibs. I hope you get good use out of them. Better that than on a shelf collecting dust.

    Oxygen Sensors (shipping only)

Shipping looks like it'll only be around $7 (either state), not sure if they charge for the bubble wrap envelope. I sent Tom a PM on Friday but did not hear back yet. He has dibs, AceOfSpades has second dibs if its too rich for Tom. :)

A/C not working - no cold air

Well, my KJ ownership time has finally elapsed. It was an interesting and expensive 2 1/2 years. I never got around to fixing the AC - too many other issues to fix and now the TC is grinding. Fed up... not sure I will be looking at another Jeep product for some time. Upgrading my ride to an...

A/C not working - no cold air

Thanks for all the comments, much appreciated. I don't know any A/C shops personally. Its winter most of the time here so not many of us have had to deal with it. I did find a shop that seems to specialize in A/C, and they have a promotional deal for $49.99 they said they do a full...

A/C not working - no cold air

If there is a leak, is it generally an expensive repair? I mean, are we talking a couple hundred or much much more?

A/C not working - no cold air

Thanks for the reply, I will check the link. Just looked under the hood, the clutch does not engage (it does not spin).

A/C not working - no cold air

Hi Guys, Is there a "how-to" on A/C troubleshooting? I am looking through the list but not finding what I am looking for. I am seeing some threads about checking clutches, compressors, condensers... all a foreign language to me, I've never even looked at the A/C components before. I...

    O2 sensors in pairs?

Yup, I was thinking the same thing. Figure these things are easy to take out or do they generally cause a lot of trouble?

    BCM and PCM location

Coming back to this after a couple year break... Wasn't there a parts website or microfiche site where you could see the breakdown of any vehicle and easily follow the components and wiring? I thought that was on this site but I can't seem to find it now. I want to try again to go though...

    O2 sensors in pairs?

Some on the interweeb suggest swapping out both sensors (in pairs) when you have an O2 sensor code. I am getting P0137. I only checked because lately after driving a while, if I stop and start in a short time without cooling it has a hard time to start. I need to lightly touch the gas pedal...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Oh... and to add insult to injury, this is my first day of vacation and I have a new (to me) quad - meaning I can't even bring it to the cottage for my week off... damn, now I have to do my wife's crap.

What did you do to your jeep today?

Dragged my ATV trailer to a welder to have it repaired. It made a hell of a lot of noise getting there... and its riding sideways, can see it in one mirror but barely in the other. The welder almost fainted when we saw my axle, and me putting my finger through it (rot everywhere). he needs...

What did you do to your jeep today?

LOL... Yeah, that does sounds very possible considering it always happens just as I close my driver's side door... and normally when it's raining. I have to take a look, just haven't had the time. :Insane:

What did you do to your jeep today?

I kicked it... I finally bloody kicked it. It is evil, it hates me... I can mess around with that back lock until the cows come home and everything works perfectly, only when its raining or there's a billion mosquitoes or a bear outside, as soon as I close my driver's side door the damn rear...

Rear tailgate glass self opens !!

Mine just started doing this. Its a nice hot day, no rain in sight. I just came back with groceries, unloaded, closed the glass, went in, came back out and it was open. Look for my keys, they are sitting on the bench, right side up. Close again, few minutes later, pops open again. Ugh...

2011 Liberty Front Brake Caliper Bolts Stuck

I usually put anti-seize where the wheel meets the hub which touches the stud but does not encompass it (more to keep it clean looking outside). Its more to keep the wheel from rusting solid to the hub. I am willing to bet any money that 99% of the garages are torquing them well over 100 lbs...

2011 Liberty Front Brake Caliper Bolts Stuck

You could maybe try some heat... but be very careful around any rubber. Keep a bottle of ice cold water next to you, pinpoint a torch on the head of that bolt and then douse it with the cold water. It could be rusted shut, and that hot to cold contraction should crack it loose. You'll...
