I've lookd at the repair manual Hi Truck thanks for taking a look. it appers to be the ETC thats flashing not the pre-heat/glow plug? can anyone advise, it suggests in the manual to report to an agent asap.I've plugged in the 16 pin reader and i have No fault code.

flman, thanks for the advice. not changed the FF. the crd has run fine since and runs GREAT plus returns 30.7 mpg at -8 Celsius (17 fahr) been quite cold here in the UK. using Shell v power diesel every 5 weeks and mobil 1 new for oil changes. EAATP
