Running rough

[Who ate all the pies]

Hi Guys

i've just returned from a short run and my 2007 CRD started to run really rough and stall, i switched her off and restarted and ran just as bad, i popped the hood to have a look to check it had not blown a cooler hose, they looked fine, i returned to start her up and started as if nothing had happened?

any ideas?

flman, thanks for the advice. not changed the FF. the crd has run fine since and runs GREAT plus returns 30.7 mpg at -8 Celsius (17 fahr) been quite cold here in the UK.
using Shell v power diesel every 5 weeks and mobil 1 new for oil changes.
