I have not gone outside to look at the front end of the Liberty. Its too cold and snowy. We have about 7 inches with drifts in the 12inch range.
I have not been out and im not going out today however I do have to drive a good distance tomorrow in these conditions.
I carry a tow rope...
I don't trust my area to start it and to return back inside to let it warm up.
I just hop in and start it up wait a few minuts to get my morning raido show tuned in and some skoal and im off. I do keep the rpm's low until it gets warm but by the time I get to the main routes the motor is...
I noticed this on mine as well.
I get some lifter noise when cold, but goes right away in like 4 seconds.
I also noticed the VW type sound when going through a drive through.
I just got my build sheet.
It does list the bug guard.
I do not have the bug guard.
EDIT**
I just called my sales person.
I told her I requested the build sheet from Jeep, With the part of the VIN that the site requested.
I told her the build sheet lists the bug-shield. and...
I have been running a full synethic oil.
The last two time i got my oil changed was when I was visiting in Michigan and I had them use mobile 1. the time before that was Pennzoil Platinum and this last oul change was with Pennzoil Platinum.
I noticed the sludge buildup on my oild cap/pulg thing last night when I went through the local quick stop oil change place.
I know it is Condensation however I do not make any short trips. I only have 12,200 miles on my Liberty.
The humidity is not that high right now, so is there any...
that sucks,
that reciently happened at our place but not to the liberty, but with out 2nd floor window. good thing the a-hole hit the storm window and not the main window.
I just read this thread last night and tested my e-brake today. I looked over the other topic about this.
when I tested my e-brake in my parking spot that is on a hill. I put the jeep in Neutral. Then pulled up on the e-brake handle and counted the clicks. I did not get the e-brake to...
I don't need the range to unlock it until im close to the jeep. I like the range as im walking away. I know I locked it, but I like to turn around and give it one last check as im walking away. On my other truck I had twice the range of the jeep.
So far I only have one issue with my liberty. The keyless entry has a short range.
anyone else have this problem? Is it normal or something that can be fixed?
I am away from home and cannot test my other key.
Well I just moved with a new job that requires me to drive a lot. Having a 1992 GMC full size pickup with 2 wheel drive and a 5.7L about to turn 130,000 miles was not going to cut it. So I went on a search for some basic items that i wanted. smaller motor, A/C and some other features. So...
well since i picked up the jeep I have been driving a lot. I was over the 3000 mile mark yesterday by 265 miles and stoped at a local oil change place in Terre Haute Indiana. topped it off with fresh oil and a filter and off I went on my 130 mile trip back home.
This past week I have...
yes the delux bumpers do make it look better. I am worried that if I add a bull bar that it will make it look weird with the fender flairs being the delux painted.
you mean the "paint edit" I did to the plate?
I would like to get some off road shots but there is no place for me to go down here in Kokomo Indiana. There might be one place back in Ypsilanti Michigan(my home town) where I can get some shots taken but it will be a while before I can explore...
At least Im not the only one. I noticed this the first morning when I was driving. On some other trucks I have had they have done this but it wasn't as noticable as the liberty.
do they dim like discribed from above when after market fog lights are added and they are fliped on?
