    O2 sensors

    I decided to go ahead an do the repair myself, picked up both an upstream and downstream O2 sensor and the sensor socket, Ill be tackling this on Friday assuming the weather holds out.

    Yes to do them is no trouble, finding the time to do them is a different story. I work 60 hrs a week. Im sure it wouldnt take me but an hour or so to do them, but its finding that hr to do them.

    See if the dealership will allow you to take it to your personal garage. We did that when we bought my wife's 05 last year. Think it was about $100 to have the once over, they found a couple things that the dealership didnt find and they had to fix. That is a heck of a price on that vehicle...

    Just spoke to the garage, even though only 2 are bad they recommend changing all 4 to the tune of $550 out the door or we could do the 2 for $275 out the door.

    Anyone replaced the O2 sensors in your KJ? Seems my wife's 05 6 cyl, has had the check engine light on and we had the PCM reflashed as per bulletin, but the garage did tell us if the reflash didnt work, then the Bank 1 O2 sensors need to be replaced. How difficult is this to do?
