I got mine simply because I liked it the best. I just had my 1st kid so I needed something with 4 doors. So I went looking, and took a compass and a caliber for test drives. I REALLY didnt like both of them for reasons I wont get into cause it'd take awhile.
Took a Envoy for a test drive and...
I'll check these out. Do they handle worse than an AT tire in the city? On pavement like, wet pavement?
And do they work ALOT better off roading than an AT tire?
So today I went to take a look at the BFG TA's and while they look like real good tires I seen some mud tires. The BFG Mud-Terrain TA's caught my eye.
So I have a few questions about tires like this.
Are they really that much louder than an AT tire?
Do they really get a lot worse gas...
I was thinking that because I dont do alot of off roading (once or twice a year down old logging roads when I'm hunting and just snow in the winter) I wouldnt need a 3 ply sidewall and be able to save $80 or so.
But, if the 3 ply is alot better I can justify spending the money.
I'm looking at new tires, and I see the General Grabber AT2 tires are almost half the price of the BFG KO's I was planning on getting. They look like good tires, lots of good reviews. But I see that they are a 2 ply sidewall tire while the KO's are 3.
Is a 3 ply sidewall that much better?
I'm pretty sure those are the tires I'm gonna get. Lots of people seem to like them. I dont know anything about the wheels though, I'd say get what you think looks good.
I'm looking at getting new tires (I know almost nothing about tires) and I see most ppl say these tires are the best?
Right now I have 225/75 Wrangler ST's on my jeep, so should I be getting these in 225/75 or would 235/70's fit on my wheels?
16X7.0 Lux Alum Silver Wheels is whats on my...
I dont own a white Liberty, but I've always thought that a white car is alot easier to keep clean than a dark colour...dont know about the cream colour thou.
I'm gonna go take a look around the city and see what I can find.
Is a class 3 rated from 3500-5000lbs and a class 4 5000lbs+? I cant quite remember how that works.
Ah, it will cost me $100 shipping from there, gotta get it shipped to the states for free shipping.
Have to give my buddy in Minnesota a call:D
Thanks again
