Manual transmission question
I too have the manual but an 02 and when I first got it I had big problems getting it into gear and it turned out to be the dual mass flywheel. Might be worth getting it checked before you getting another box and find out its not the box at all. I am also playing around with oils in the gerabox...- Banditsteve

Typical mechanical issues between 110k-140k on '02 Limited??
If you have had your KJ for a while and kept up with the service schedule it shouldn't cause you any more problems than any other vehicle. Just keep up with the servicing and it should be fine. Hi All, Just wanted to know if anyone's alternator (generator) has the "decoupler" on the pulley where the serpentine belt goes round? Not sure of the ratings LibertyTC but I will take some photos for you at the weekend and post them for you. Until then, there are 2 part numbers on there - 52059343AB and 52059412AB. Wow! Can't believe you guys have a scissor jack! Mine (2002 Sport) comes with a bottle jack and wheel brace (lug nut remover) and extension poles etc all clipped into a plastic holder that bolts down under the rear passenger seat. I priced some up for mine a couple of years ago and they were like the equivalent of $180 for the 2x "Cherokee" and 2x "sport" badges so I got a sign shop to make them up in reflective white so they stand out in the dark! Slow heater controls................
Thankx all. I am thinking its a vacuum issue too but not sure where to start looking. Where is the vacuum reservoir situated? Is most of the hvac unit accessible from behind the dash without ripping too much of the interior out? Like I said its not a huge problem, more of a pain in the butt...- Banditsteve
