Interesting , is what's showing in the picture behind where the bumper was what was already there & is now just exposed & does anyone have a picture of a cut rear bumper ?
Are you saying the dipstick won't go all the way in or it won't stay all the way in ? I have a truck that every time I opened the hood the dipstick would be up about 1/2 " . I replaced the pcv valve & no more problem .
My 05 has a ground wire like that , in that area ,that goes up to the hood . my 02 does also , don't know why because there's nothing electrical on the hoods .
Just a FIY if anyone cares . I have an 02 with the 45 trans & an 05 with the 42 trans & both dipsticks have yellow ends & look the same but they are not the same length .
I have read about the hidden manual & looked & it's not there . Does the position of the overdrive button have anything to do with anything except eliminating 4th gear . If I understand correctly in overdrive off the transmission will just shift to 3rd . Torque converter lockup & everything else...
I don't have an owners manual for my 05 Liberty & I would like to know if it's alright to push the overdrive button on & off while cruising down the road or if the jeep should be stopped when using the button .
Wife wants nerf bars on her Liberty simply to make it easier for her & her elderly mother to get in & out . Ebay has chrome , powdercoat & stainless steel . Not really concerned about type . Any advice about which ones I should get ?
I replaced the pcm in my 05 . Driver in PCM for # 4 injector was bad . You can buy a plug & play PCM off ebay . The first one I received was also bad but they sent me another one which works fine .
I have found the kits , just wondering how much of a bear it would be to install the 0 rings & seals . I just finished installing a crank kit in my 02 & don't find many things intimidating but I've never rebuilt a steering rack . It drives & steers fine , just leaking fluid out one end .
Undoubtedly one must have the right tools but I just changed the one in my 05 a few days ago & it just took a few minutes . Pulled it up on ramps & did it from underneath .
