    I have mounted, balanced and installed two tires on the rear axle with about 11/32" tread. The front two original tires have about 4/32" tread. Could this be the cause of an erratic ESP BAS light?

    Thanks for the quick R. I'll schedule everything at one time then. I'm not tackling alignment myself at this time. I'm currently just up to doing my own tire mounting / balancing and have a bad habit of having to have tools that I seldom use. :D

    I've done a lot of reading in this forum and I'm closer to doing a very minimal lift. Still on stock Goodyears and about to get replacement Michelin LTX M/S in stock size. The stock tires on the front are getting chewed on their inboard tread faster than outboard so I'll get an alignment too...

    Thanks. Is there a way to tell which of the 4 are bad? I'm not terribly familiar with the tire monitoring systems, except I've rented a car with it before. Looks like retail Napa is $75.99/ea. If this were my vehicle, I'd be gung ho to break a bead and replace them.
