I'm trying to fix the very common problem of having the fuel filler clicking off constantly while filling. The service manual says there is an access panel under thge back floor and yet when I pulled up the carpet nothing. Is this a common discrepancy or maybe only something on the export...
They say necessity is the mother of invention well there isn't a shop around that was able to press out the LBJ and with no wheels to take it there anyway I had to get creative. Worked a charm 3 pumps of the handle and it popped.

I have searched on this and come up with nothing. Removing the front hub (04 3.7 ) I have separated the hub from the steering knuckle but can't separate from the half shaft. Is their a seal or something that maybe sticking or some kinda trick to it.

I'm hearing a rattle sounds a bit like timing chain but it's only when the AC is on and only when you use the loud pedal. Is there a replaceable bearing or is the pully replaceable or am I looking At a new pump

Fix that leak the under floor is like a giant sponge it will hold a few litres of water before you realise the carpet is wet. There is a foam rubber around the drain outlet in the firewall mine was dripping onto this and sponging internal. Sealed it all up with single and extended the hose all...
I'm on my second set of Hankook's can't fault them not to noisy fairly good grip off road for an AT got about 60k ( km not miles) outta the 1st set and at least here in OZ way cheaper than the coppers

I got the kit for mine from rock auto J&A I think was the brand all up about $450 inc shipping. I had mechanics going to charge me $1200 for parts sourced here found a mech that would install my parts instead

New coolant tank and LBJ's first jeep parts I have bought from OZ, for a change it was cheaper to buy here than ship from U.S.

Yeah they are a pain to change however the platinum have a different resistance than the copper thus the issues. I have stuck with the Iridium for about 70k now and since going to copper major change

When I bought mine it had Iridium plugs in it not knowing they were not the right plugs I replaced them with a new set. Just went back to copper core last service and wow what a difference it goes so much better more power smoother. Highly recommend the copper
