    turbo liberty

Rumor has it the new KL *might* have a MultiAir turbo 4 as one of the engine options. But no, the 3.7L PowerTech would be very cost prohibitive to attempt to fit a turbo. Can't be done

Get a KK while the gettins' good!

http://www.allpar.com/news/index.php/2012/07/blade-liberty-stops-august-16-toledo-upgrades They're extinct in about a month!! Plus, they're making them in the Rescue Green color, which is the best color for a Jeep ever IMO. Natural Green is 2nd. :D

2002 Liberty 337,000 miles - Never been towed

is this a typo? Because that sounds like a whole lot of oil burnt every 3k miles. The 3.7 takes 5 quarts, and you're saying that roughly 2 quarts go missing every 3k miles (a quart and a liter are essentially the same)

    Brake behavior when hot?

Yeah it works between 1mph and 7mph depending on where you set it

    Brake behavior when hot?

Sorry to thread-jack but Wouldn't activating hill descent control on a KK help mitigate this? (Due to the system applying individual brakes to each wheel intermittently as needed) Ps. I know the OP has a KJ. I'm asking on behalf of myself

Lift faq: Read before asking questions!

Few more questions: 1) I read that using conduit nuts for the clevis lift is NOT good if you're still running the stock struts. True? I don't see why it would be a problem. 2) They didn't have Stainless conduit nuts. Those of you who have done a clevis lift: Are these rusting away before...

Lift faq: Read before asking questions!

So if I want to level out the Stock suspension because the front is lower, would I use a couple of JBA Top Plates? would I need to change anything else? 2011 KK by the way.

    Nnooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!

Indeed You know, I was thinking. Ford makes nohing but crossovers now. Hummer is gone. Jeep wrangler looks like the only purpose built trail rig on the market (besides some toyotas) Ford used to make the orig Bronco to compete with the CJ. If they made a new bronco to contrast with the...

    Nnooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!

I'll have to disagree there. If you don't dig the box on wheels look of the kk, that's fine. But mechanically, theyre the same. The kk has slightly less departure angle. I've owned both, and I can say that the kk is quieter, better made with better materials, and better engineered. I.e...

2008 jeep liberty (automatic trans )starts to buck

Well I can tell you that my 2006 used to shift pretty hard, and I thought something may have been wrong with the trans. But I traded that one in, and bought a 2011, and it does the same thing since about 800 miles on the odometer. I dont know why the 42RFE does this, but it's pretty consistent...

    KK Steering Wheel Swap

I love the 2011 wheel. Leather-wrapped. VERY substantial feeling. Looks rugged and old school, but still has controls and buttons and airbag. Love it. I'll give a long-term update on request as to how the stitching is holding up, but I expect no issues. My only concern with it is that you...
