    Ome + h&r

The H&R Springs are progressive, so I wouldn't compare them with the OEM springs in anyway. My Libby had less than 13,000 miles on it when I installed the H&R's and they were night and day compared to the OEM. Yes, they provide as comfortable of a ride on small bumps and potholes on paved...

    Budget build, i need advise

I don't disagree with that statement at all. I could have spent as much as I wanted to on my suspension, but I decided to give the H&R Springs a try and I'm very happy I did. I'm a big fan of German engineering and quality. I wouldn't change a thing. I love that these springs are...

    Budget build, i need advise

Had Kumho years ago and you could pay me enough to buy them again. Went with Cooper SST Pros. By the way H&R springs aren't crap and there are other options besides OME. They're high quality German made springs. Folks seem to think all Liberty's need to have OME suspensions. Even being...

    Budget build, i need advise

If you're on a budget don't be afraid to give the H&R Springs a try. Don't waste your money on a spacer lift though. My Libby looks so much different and meaner than all those other stock sagging Liberty's around here. Not to mention it's so much more capable off-road. You really notice the...

    Ome + h&r

Still loving these H&R Springs and Gabriel Ultra Shocks all the way around after approximately 6,000 miles. Very reasonably priced, comfortable and yet very confident ride. I did add a 3/8" JBA clevis spacer and 1 additional upper rear isolator. Total price of lift was under $500, so I'm...

Took a really hard hit to the passenger side front - Rattling now

Baby's all back together. The clevis spacers and additional rear upper isos leveled it out nicely. Glad to have the new urathane boots finally on as well. My brother informed me I caused the upper shock mount failure. The mounts I bought for the new springs and shocks didn't come with a the...

Took a really hard hit to the passenger side front - Rattling now

All apart just waiting on Amazon. All BJ's and TRE's are good. I will replace all the boots with urathane boots, install 3/8" JBA clevis spacers and install an additional rear upper isolators while I'm at it.

Pictures of 02-04 cut or trimmed bumpers?

Wow! I like the look. Now you have me tempted to do mine. Is there another post about this modification with more pictures?

Took a really hard hit to the passenger side front - Rattling now

Parts are on the way! Thank you Amazon. I'll pull the other side apart tomorrow and be ready for the parts Saturday morning. Hopefully I'll be back on the road by Monday. I hate compressing those springs though. We'll see. Maybe I'll have them done for me this time around. I'm going to...

Took a really hard hit to the passenger side front - Rattling now

Anyone replace these? Looks like it might be a ***** to get the old ones out?

Took a really hard hit to the passenger side front - Rattling now

Looks like to metal sleeve around the lower control arm bushing at the clevis cracked. Guessing that's what's making the noise. I'll see if I can order both sides. I'll do the sway bar links bushings and bolts as well.

2 additional rear upper isos OK?

Thanks JeepinJarhead03. Not looking for any trouble down the road, so I appreciate the input.

Thanks guys. I'll pull the wheel and take a look in a little while.

2 additional rear upper isos OK?

If I install what I have I'm figuring an additional 1.25" front and 1.0" rear. That would put me at 21.75" front and 22.0" rear, if I'm doing the math correctly.

2 additional rear upper isos OK?

No top plate, clevis spacer or additional upper rear isos installed yet.

2 additional rear upper isos OK?

I might have to climb under the Libby this weekend(see my other post). If I'm under there I've been trying to decide if I want to go a little higher and looking for your thoughts on installing 2 additional upper rear isolators? I have the JBA 1/4" top plate, 3/8" clevis spacers and 4 factory...

Took a really hard hit to the passenger side front - Rattling now

Yesterday on my way back from the gun club I was driving a little too fast and not paying enough attention to the potholes on a very rough frozen dirt road. It was a very hard and sharp hit. Sounded like something let go immediately and now I have a rattle on that side going over bumps. That...

    Broken OME 927

That's surface rust. Looks like a normal older New England Jeep. My 02 from NY looked even worse with only 11,700 miles on it. Not trying to start anything, but I didn't think OME ever broke from what I read on this forum.
