    Go with the reverse switch first. I had this same issue in my 04. blowing fuses like no tomorrow. replaced the switch and boom, done.

    So I backed it up onto Ramps and crawled under it to see what I could find. Other than some surface rust it all looks great under there. Everything looks to be attached properly. Any other ideas? This noise had just been getting worse and more frequent. And of course when I take it to the shop...

    Today I finished packing for a road trip, shop-vacced every square inch of the jeep, and got everything in. I'm going to be gone for ten days and still plenty of room in the jeep for my girlfriend to lounge and sleep during the 9 hour drive Sent from space by the force of gravity.

    I've had the same environment with the jeep, and had it do the same thing. It stays parked next to a scion xa that does not have automatic doors, one day i can be in the doorway to the house and it works, the next day I have to be 5 feet away.The only difference the last 2 days was it rained...

    Power Door Locks / Disable?

    Yes you can, I have EVIC in mine. Push the MENU button I believe 3 times or scroll though until you see the AUTO LOCK DOORS. It will say yes next to it, then press STEP to change it to no. Then hit C/T and you are done.
