I wonder too. They are pretty heavy.
I have the KO2’s which are load range E. They are heavy and do affect gas mileage but they are super durable. My sister in law has had multiple flat tires in her car during the last 4 years and during that time I have had none in the Jeep. Who knew all terrains would be so great in the city?!

My KJ came on KO2's (so represent 1/2 its value), they were fine but can't say they were any different to the Grabbers I've been used to (although comparing a KJ on BFG's & an XJ on Grabbers is a thankless - & pretty pointless - exercise). Then a pair of KO3's turned up on Fleabay at a good price, so got them knowing it was only a matter of time. They're on the back now but, apart from the very different shoulder design, haven't noticed any difference although not driven it much since. Of course the big problem is when I need to replace the fronts (still plenty of meat left on them, but are definitely showing their age) 'cos there's no way I'd be prepared to spend that sort of money on it - I mean for another couple of hundred pounds I could buy another one.

I got my Jeep back this afternoon from the engine rebuilder. It purrs like new! And comes with a 6 month warranty on the work.

Happy to recommend Mardinly Enterprises in Broomall, PA if anyone in the region needs engine repair. They do everything, and have their own machine shop in-house.

Why no 17”? Width issue? Have I already forgotten that much Liberty tech specs? LOL
Danged if I know, but I went and looked, and the K03 doesn’t come in a 17” rim size.

Weird. Rubicons all sit on 17s. Perhaps FCA has a deal to make them an exclusive for a while? Strange as I got mine from Costco, though I no longer see them on the site.

Finally got round to sorting my smoking Jeep, no2 injector was leaking, amazing my luck would normally be no4!
Changed the oil too incase of dilution.

I'm pretty bad at this wrenching stuff, but I enjoy it and I'm stretching my abilities.
It started with a persistent PS fluid leak and some "uncertain" steering.

Upper & Lower Control Arms
Upper & Lower Ball Joints
Struts
Sway Bar Links
Sway Bar Bushings
Tie Rod Ends
Steering Rack
PS Hoses (pump-to-rack & rack-to-res; no cooler)
Mostly new bolts on the suspension

Alignment next!

Thanks for all the help! I didn't ask questions, but I spent a lot of time with the Search function. ;)

I bought a pet barrier/divider for the cargo area, some seat covers, and deep dish grooved rubber floormats. It's February in the Pacific Northwest and we are in the slush, mud, and gravel season. I have a Shiba Inu as well as 5 and 7 year old boys who still treat a car like it's their trash can, so the seat condoms are a must!

Mechanically, she got an oil change, and a steering rack bushing.

Which pet barrier/divider did you get, and do you like it? Thinking about getting one as well...
