I did this in graphite :) I just used straight up wheel paint. It stuck too! I just made sure I sanded the letters a bit.

Did you have to take the badge off

3rd brake lights a bit dark but kinda late for that now.
I've tried 3 times to do my badges but it won't stick on theses. I've done this on three other vehicles with no problems. Yours look great, can I ask your method? I can't get it to break clean on the edges.

I alwaYS remove all the badges on all of my rides , never liked them from way back when
So nothing to worry about and looks so much better with out them
