2003 Libby Sport.
Figured it had the common plastic regulator parts so I ordered the repair plates. Had a drivers door latch issue so decided to do that yesterday. Pulled it apart, swapped out the latch, no problem.

Went to do the window regulator and discovered something I haven't seen before. Instead of the normal plastic plate or the Steiger/Ebay steel plate, I found a stamped steel lift plate with black nylon pin blocks and guide block. It has a steel spiral on the lift cable like the steiger kit, that is riveted to the steel lift plate.

Anyone seen this style before? I'm going to open a couple other doors and check those as well.

I knows There are two styles of plates for the windows regulators for the KJ. One that uses Pins to hold the window on and another that uses a clip that the window just slides into and locks on. I believe the one with the pins are the better of the two because when I had my front windows repaired under warranty they had to put in new windows in because the wholes drilled into the clip style windows are different from the ones that use the pins.

I also came across this when I replaced my rear driver window regulator last summer. My rear windows use the clip version and I accidentally ordered the pin style because the picture showed one with the clip. I didn't notice I had the wrong part until After I pulled everything apart but the parts dealer swapped it out with no issues and got me the correct one.

Search for pics of the Dorman regulator and see if it looks like yours. If so, I believe it has a lifetime warranty.

Also, it seems like I read that the Mopar part is updated and actually requires a new window (different style). You may want to check on that.

Looked into all 4 doors. Both front regulators are the same. Metal plates with black nylon block for the window pins. Normal Libby glass not the "lighter" glass. Rears are the common white plastic blocks (so those will be changed out with the steiger clones.)
If I get the chance I'll pop open the front again and get a picture. IF this is a replacement part it looks OEM. I pulled a few of the retainer bolts and they don't appear to have been out before.

I have looked at just about every after market part and all I have seen use a fully plastic plate. Just going to keep looking. These look like a better part in some ways than the metal kits, the plastic window blocks will probably make less noise.

OK found ones like this '03 Libby has
They are factory parts!!! Mopar part# 55360031AD BUT they were "replaced" by the plastic parts!!! I would bet it was a way to cut build costs, one molded plastic part to replace an 8 piece fabricated part.
