Hopefully they find it before its stripped but the chances are pretty slim sorry to say. It will more than likely turn up some day though. I had a 79 shortbed Ford 4WD that I sold back in 83, was stolen 2 days after I sold it to the guy. 6 years later he contacted me to tell me the frame had been found in a sludge pond where they had stripped mined years before. Well actually 23 frames were found in there. My old 79 frame was easy to find since my name was welded on the frame rails :happy175:
As far as shipping overseas happens a lot but mainly higher end cars.
Did you hear about this guy.............

DETROIT – George Talley and his prized ’79 Chevrolet Corvette were reunited at General Motors’ world headquarters today, just three miles from where the car was stolen from him 33 years ago.
Talley, 71, last saw his Corvette when it was parked on Jefferson Avenue in 1981. On June 13, more than 30 years later, Talley received a call from AAA informing him his car had turned up in Hattiesburg, Miss.
“It was a lucky day to hear that my car had been found,” said Talley. “They told me it was running, had 47,000 miles on it and was ready for me to pick up!”
