Buying a factory service manual

I know many of you highly recommend this for any form of repairs and/or upgrades due to its level of detail. I have a Haynes manual, which isn't bad, but isn't great. First, is it one volume or two? I've found some listed online, and some say one volume, some say two. Second, are there any/enough differences between the 2003 and 2004 models to make it worth my time to find a 2004 FSM? The only ones I can find on ebay are 2003.

There are some differences between the two. I have a 2003 and used it for awhile. Only thing I noticed were wire colors were off but they are in the 2004 one also.

Some wiring is different, the 04's have the little grab handle that 02-03's didn't have, little things. PM sent.

For most of the mechanical stuff your good with an 03', its mainly electrical differences from year to year. I have the 02 and 03 FSM and they are both different on some items for wire colors, although if your trying to figure out a specific plug the pinout as to what each wire is, pin 1 is X, pin 2 is Y, etc.. That type of thing is the same from 02-04 as most of the electrical components are the same. Like an o2 sensor pinout or something like that.
