I bypassed the starter switch by applying 12V to the plug on the starter. I don't know how to exactly describe the sound that I hear, but I am thinking it's the engine trying to fire but not having fuel. The starter may not be the issue, so I may have a glow plug or fuel delivery issue.

I went to go start the Liberty this morning, but she said NO. When I turn the key, she tried to start initially, but then it seems that the starter is still winding without the starter engaging the flywheel. I am not claiming to be a mechanic, so feel free to chime in and let me know a better...

How did you end up finding it? Did you use a radiator pressure tester kit? I have been watching videos to determine where all the different coolant lines are located.

Have you heard anything from the LOST admin? MD offers a 30-day registration in order to get an inspection done on my vehicle. Hopefully, I can get the CEL resolved before the 30 days are up.

He currently has it relisted at $1,950. I would offer him $1,500 and try to repair it myself. I would need to get my father-in-laws mig welder and head to the junk yard to see if I could cut out the needed metal.
