thought i would share this pic with the forum. it is a transport vehicle for an ice fishing outlet in northern minnesota. i really want to drive it and see what it can do. i can't really tell what model they did this too but a CRD would make sense

i've towed a 22' fiberglass boat around quite a bit in the summer time and didn't have a problem getting it into the water or out of it. trailered straight and true. just make sure the overdrive is off until you get to cruising speed and give yourself plenty of extra braking room and distance.

my 04 seats are the same way. my plan is to reupholster them with something better. i would like a neoprene like material but i haven't really looked into it. probably just steam clean them like everyone says first and see what happens from there.

i've only seen it online and looking under my jeep real quick. it doesn't look difficult but i wanted to check before getting into the project. a guy on facebook said i have to replace the whole steering rack? and also take out the front differential? not too sure if it would be that...

i would be taking it to a shop to get the alignment done. how difficult are the outer tie rods and do they require any special tools?

have the 04 Sport in to get some new Firestone Destination A/T's and when they do the inspection they find a loose tie rod end on drivers side that is also out of grease, and they also tell me that my rear brake pads are shot and have grooved the rotors!! :pp: tires already come to about $800...

sounds good. ill have to game plan to see where i stand and what needs to get done first. i plan on having it for a long long time to come.

Thats kind of what i was thinking. Wanted to get some snow tires on the stock rims and then get a whole new set of summer tires and rims. Have to wait and see how these ones hold up.

that is one killer KJ. i really want to do the matte black on mine too when i get the time/money, it looks sweet with those black rims. i personally like the stock rim design. good work on the ride though
