So I finally got my lift and rock rails put on this weekend and I'm itching to try it out. Anyone planning to go to Uwharrie or Gulches (in the carolina's) on memorial day weekend? Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk

    Lift trouble

Finally got it taken care of, threads were damaged on the end of the bolt which in turn damaged threads on the nut as well slightly. Got to the other side and as I disconnected the sway bar the bushing came apart. So I guess I'm driving with the front disconnected until I get another one in...

    Lift trouble

The nut isn't on far enough to get the socket on to the end, I will try clamping though. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk

Been trying to install my frankenlift and I finally got the first corner almost put back together.but I cannot tighten the but on the upper arm, the ball just spins. Any ideas on how to get it to tighten? I have tried using 2 ratchet straps and a pry bar to apply downward force and it still...

    Fresh CV install

I greased it, but never done before. Used the measured amount of grease that came with, squeezed it around the bearings on both sides just wonder if I should have tried to force the grease in deeper than I did Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk

    Fresh CV install

So just got done installing my new drive shaft cv joint. Drove around a few blocks got up to about 30 everything seemed fine, crawled under to check it out. The cv seemed a bit hot got that short of a drive. Not too hot to touch but too hot to hold my hand there comfortably. Is this normal...

    Brakes

Iirc just regular hex head bolts. I usually don't even bother with a ratchet.just need the right size wrench, don't remember which size exactly. Oh, if you have trouble with rear rotors you may have to do something with the parking break to release the shoes not sure how to explain that process...

Just out of curiosity, and i dunno if this answer is already posted or not. for those of you who have ordered a Frankenlift, what was your average wait time to receive the product? Shipped the day, or day after you ordered it with 3-5 days transit? or did it take a week or two for it to get...

    Extending breathers... Trans?

Yea I found a bunch done on tj's but didn't know if I had to drop the trans on the liberty or not, but I did get it to work. It looks like the breather is too far forward to access from inside the vehicle. But using a screwdriver and a hammer I was able to pop the metal cap off, and I did have...

    Extending breathers... Trans?

thought I would post this in case someone else had the same issue. On my 03 liberty with the manual transmission (nv3550) there is no breather tube, just a cap on the top of the trans. Forward of the shifter, and towards the passenger side. I read elsewhere that someone was able to pry off the...
