K thanks guys, i dropped ****** again and chased top bolt holes all good. And double check the torque converter was still seated. Now to raise it back up. Ya i figured if it was on dowels it wouldve been good especially since i had the one right next to dowels in as well. The way it looked like...

K ill try that. It looks flush but maybe not 100%. Just got off the phone with a car guy i work with and he said to do converter bolts last, so backong them off forst and makong sure thats still all good there. Thanks

So i got a used 05 ****** for my 06 liberty, i got it up on the dowels and the bolts right below the dowels in (but loosend off now). I have the torque converter attached to flywheel. But when i go to put in top bolts seems like there not quite lined up. Will get a few threads then tighten right...

Soooooo i pulled ****** back off and spun engine and ****** both spin. Although the torque converter looked a bit "wobbly" so i took it off and put it to old ******, spun it and yup its definitely got a bent shaft, not cool. Now in AM get to go deal with the auto wrecker who sold it to me.

Im Installing a used 42rle ******, i have it lined up with dowels and 2 bolts in housing to engine. I went to turn the engine over to line up fly wheel and torque converter bolts but cant turn the engine over for the life of me. Am i missing something? It turned over nicely to take out bad...

Well got the valvebody removed and not seeing any chunks and very minimal flakes. If a TC goes is it quite messy inside? Just hoping i have to replace solenoid bank and not whole unit. Time to wrap up for the day and read more on this issue. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

K thanks, im pulling part where solenoids are, going to check that amd see if i notice anything in there. I hope its just solenoids. Just dont want to try that and that not be the answer. Will post an update
