Cant turn engine ovee by hand

Im Installing a used 42rle ******, i have it lined up with dowels and 2 bolts in housing to engine. I went to turn the engine over to line up fly wheel and torque converter bolts but cant turn the engine over for the life of me. Am i missing something? It turned over nicely to take out bad ******. And everything spun on ****** going in before i lifted it into place.

Soooooo i pulled ****** back off and spun engine and ****** both spin. Although the torque converter looked a bit "wobbly" so i took it off and put it to old ******, spun it and yup its definitely got a bent shaft, not cool. Now in AM get to go deal with the auto wrecker who sold it to me.

Sounds like someone dropped it on the shaft... can't see how it'd bend on removal. That's a bummer.
