We have plain old bacon, like you have, comes in strips, then we have "back bacon", sometimes known as "peameal bacon", which you call "Canadian Bacon".

I've been looking at the Generals, they are top rated for snow and ice on Tire Rack if that's a concern, reasonable price, and they come in 245-70-16 which the Duratracs don't.
Probably pick myself up a set soon.

Hopefully your dealer can sort out the issues for you. Parking brake is probably seized up from lack of use... a lot of people with automatics don't bother with it.
Up here though, you have to get a safety certification to register a vehicle, and a seized...
