    AC blowing hot air

Hey, it could be. I haven't changed my info but I'm now in Hoosier land....

    AC blowing hot air

Thanks guys. I just went ahead and took to the shop. I'm working twelve hour days and seven days a week right now. I hate doing that but it appeared to be the best thing to do under the circumstances. Once again. Thanks!

    AC blowing hot air

Are the controls vacuum operated or are they just a cable? Trying to figure out where and what to look for.

    AC blowing hot air

My AC started blowing hot air today. Hot as in the heater is on. The compressor is running and appears to be working properly. The temperature control has no effect on the temperature blowing out. It's wide open hot all the time. I'm wondering about the controls that change the temperature of...

    Changing the gears.

I believe there is quite a bit of setup involved with changing gears and putting in a locker. I've never done it before but have read a lot about it. If the backlash isn't set right it will eat of the gears. I just had gears and a TruTrac unit put in mine. (About a month ago.) I know I don't...

Goop in the oil fill cap area...

I really think it has to do with short drives and cold/damp weather. When I lived in Alabama it never got very cold and I was driving 25 miles one way to work. Now, in Missouri, I'm driving 4 miles one way to work and it has been a lot colder than 'Bama. I believe in my KJ that the little...

    Window Creakin'

I have drove with the seats up, down, one up and one down. Moved stuff around, ****** on the seats trying to get some kind of noise out of them with no luck. About a week ago I set in the back and got my wife to drive. Amazingly, I didn't hear the noise while I was sitting in the seat. I suspect...

    Window Creakin'

I have a rattle coming from the driver side rear. I have been unable to determine if it's a window, some of the plastic interior parts loose or maybe even something from underneath. (The shock absorber?) It rattles even in the parking lot over little small bumps. It's driving me crazy. I guess...

    Dual Batteries

I had that thought too. But it doesn't seem to me to be readily do-able. With the K&N FIPK it makes a little bit of room underneath it but not enough for a full size battery.

    Dual Batteries

Has anybody attempted or found a way of mounting a second battery on the Liberty? I don't want to put one inside or in one of those marine type cases. I have also toyed with the idea of one of the small dry cell batteries. Those (I believe) could be used to power coolers and other low power...

    Limited Slip and 4:10 gears

The guy that installed the gears is the same guy that does the axles/differentials on Bigfoot. He impressed me with his talk. He explained things to me about the break-in and what to expect. He said to just kind of drive it normal for the first 300 miles. He actually drove the thing the 25 miles...

    Limited Slip and 4:10 gears

I got it back and first impression is it has a lot more on the bottom end. The R's definitely come up quicker. Driving on the Interstate I couldn't tell any difference with the TruTrac unit. I'll have to get into something slick or loose. May do it on purpose!!! It has more of a whine coming...

    Limited Slip and 4:10 gears

Do you mean part numbers for the TruTrac and the gears?

    Limited Slip and 4:10 gears

I have the Jeep at Bigfoot 4 x 4 in St. Louis. The same bigfoot truck people. Hopefully they will have the parts installed before long and I can get back to driving it!
