Thanks, where exactly do you mean though, I assume at one end where the cable ties into the lever , but wherein the front? Right in the console itself?
I know it's not the actuator lever if that's what you mean, I've replaced all pads and springs and lubed that lever on the passenger side and have replaced it on the drivers side, so if the cable can't be frozen inside it's sleeve where else should I look
okay here it is, its the clip that holds the two cables see who one cable is longer than the other, that is when the parking brake is engaged the passenger side is not being pulled (frozen)
So after failing inspection, and replacing springs/pb shoes/ and actuator (on drivers side) i still can't get the libby to hold. (its better ) but wont hold on an incline.
I pulled up the cargo box, next to the PB lever and see that the clip that holds the two cables is cocked to the right...
So going over the Libby before in inspection and I find out my parking brake won't hold once I pulled the rear wheel off I found that the backing plate was loose my question is is this plate really needed what purpose does it serve can I get by without it I'm not a gearhead so I can't pull the...
no unfortunately i didn't get the agm, i went with their gold model, I needed a battery now, and had other plans for most of the rest of the money i won.....Gonna propose to the girlfriend, in 2 weeks . just bought the ring. WISH ME LUCK!
thanks guys for the recommendations, i had to go with the diehard platinum out of all the suggestions it was the only one that i could get right now, i wanted to go with the odyssey but it had to be shipped, and im tired of jumping my jeep.
Time for a new one, last one only lasted 3.5 years. Any suggestions on a new one . Live in Pittsburgh so it does get cold here as well
