The compressor should turn on and off but the pulley should turn constantly. If it's not then either your tensioner is bad, your belt is bad or the pulley bearing is bad.

I've used some rubber hose and a couple hose clamps.

Remote start antenna? Both mine and my wife's Liberty have that , and we both have remote start so I assumed that what that was.

I had the same codes. replaced the leak detection pump ,also known as an ESIM, no more codes.

last time I had to replace an pcm I went thru solo electronics . quick service, no hassels.

My manual refers to it as a driveplate, but I've always thought of them as a flexplate. The 07 doesn't have the bearing in the crank? Wish I'd known that before I swapped an 04 into my 03.

later model years have a pilot bearing in the crankshaft that has to be removed and the driveplates are different.

I figured as much. I guess I'll just have to do it the right way, thanks.

I'm replacing the 3.7 l engine in my '03 Liberty with an '04. I know I have to change the tone ring,reluctor ring ,and remove the pilot bearing to make it work. Can I swap the crankshaft from the '03 into the '04.That way I don't have to remove the pilot bearing.
