Back in 2021 I rebuilt/replaced my entire suspension with Amazon Detroit Axel parts and I'm finally learning the lesson of buy once cry once. Since then I've had to replace different parts here and there, this time with Moog of course.

I got a set of brand new tires and ended up chewing through them because of sagged struts in the front. Rather than replacing them I did a clevis fork lift, got an alignment, and some new tires off fb marketplace. Now, a year or so later, my front end appears to have sagged even further and ruined two more tires. Clevis forks are still where I left them. Maybe the alignment just didnt hold? LCAs have a little adjustment left, and I'm sure little goes a long way with camber. Height in front is about 18.5 inches on both sides. Driver's rear is 18.5 too, passenger rear is 19.

But my question is, does this sound like I need new struts? I ordered some Monroe quick struts that come today. My plan is to take to my mechanic for inspection & alignment and get their opinion. But would I be better off just replacing the struts first? I just dont know if this is a strut thing, or an alignment thing, or both. Thanks

Attached an image. You can see how horribly its worn on the inner edge.

When you replaced the suspension, did that include ball joints, upper control arms and tie rods? And no accidents or hit anything that may have bent something? Just asking to be sure as I have purchased that same set from Detroit Axle before for a couple different Liberty's with no notable issues (except for the ball joints with no castle nut/cotter key) but I'm not doing any heavy off-roading either. A good alignment shop tech should check all of the parts before attempting to realign.

Yeah it was a total suspension rebuild / replace. Every single component mainly whatever was cheapest on Amazon at the time. Had no idea what I was doing but was a great learning experience. Slowly replaced some parts here and there with Moog. Now i’m deciding to go back and do the job right (OME & Bilstein lift incoming).

Gonna just do an alignment for now and start ordering the parts for the lift
