First why do you think you need longer ones ?
How much lift are you running ?

I ran over 4 inches of lift on the 04 for way over 100,000 miles with stock length lines and no issues

I only have 2.5 inches but when I try to bolt to the brake caliper it does not want to turn right. Should I loosen the line at the fender well so it will be more easy to work with

If you only have 2.5 inches of lift should be plenty of room
Are you sure the brake line ( rubber flexible part ) is not running wrong way. Easy to do have seen it done before

Picture would help

No sir I am not sure. I ran it the way I thought it would be out of harm's way. I may have forgot the way it routes, I have read your advice before and you said the lines would work. I am fortunate to be a member of this group wasn't expecting such quick response you guys are great. I don't really know what the problem is thanks Jack
