Anyone have a brand or source for a front drive shaft that won’t start twerking over 55mph?

Not sure what you’re talking about but sounds pretty accurate
Just wanted to see if anyone was paying attention. But now that I've thrown the idea out there it is probably just a matter of time before they have one up for sale.

So today, after being fine for over a week, I get the P0456.

Time to start making a list I guess.

Clear the code prof and see how long or if it comes back. At least it is a very small leak.
Know anyone with a smoke machine?

I plan to tomorrow., then go looking around for holes. I think that stinking chipmunk may be out for revenge since I got the pest-proof bird feeder and shut down his all-you-can-eat buffet. Probably took a chomp out of a hose somewhere.

I had a friend with a weird device that he used to smoke this very unusual-smelling "tobacco" out of. You could see a lot of smoke going through that thing. Big Pink Floyd fan as I recall. One night he went out for Taco Bell and never came back.

Worked on my husband's cousin's '07 Liberty yesterday - the low pressure switch had gone bad and he was a little low on refrigerant.

Today, I need to replace spark plugs on mine.

I ordered a new CV joint for the front driveshaft. That should be here tomorrow. It will be done this week.

from driveshaftparts.com?
if so, here's an important tip:
it only goes on one way correctly, for the caps to fit on it properly.
do it wrong and manage to actually get it installed with any kind of force (namely tapping with a hammer) and you'll pop the out of the end, which will result in the end of the shaft getting chewed up, ruining it. then you'll have to order another boot/cover kit, and weld the joint to the shaft.

don't ask me how I know all this.

I once woke up with a Taco bell hangover covered with Diablo sauce packets. That's funny since I don't remember you...

Just find someone who vapes.

I was driving a newer Subaru the other day and it had a button next to the touch screen labeled Apps. I kept pushing it but no chicken wings came out. Guess it was broken. Anyone know of a recall?

Oh, back on topic, drove it to work and back today. Air conditioning is really good at work so "the man" got a free day from me.

Yes, it's froms them. Does it come with grease or do I need to get some? If so, what kind?

That's a sexy KJ.....

FedEx was early this morning. I just about tripped over the CV joint taking the dog outside. There was no grease included. I called Driveshaft Parts, and they're sending one up. I'm hoping it is here just as early on Wednesday.

Soo. I need to modify my lift kit a bit...

Those the Cooper AT3's? Those moabs must be spaced out a bit, yeah? The tires look a lot larger than what is listed in our sig. Getting ready for new tires on moabs myself, so that's why I ask...

Yea it’s completely different set up.
I been a cooper fan for many years and been running the at3s and the newer version on both jeeps in a 245 series with 1.5” spidertrax spacers

I found these Moabs wrapped in Maxxis Razr M/T tires sized at 265/75/16

I feel they are a smidge tall for the front oddly enough. The rear bumpstop hits the double stack hockey pucks before any fender damage ( I hope ) from a quick jack test

The front I’m using .25” clevis spacer and the .25” top plate spacer.
I might have to add another .25” clevis ring and figure out how to get the front bumper area not to rub when turning.

I’ll be using the stock wheels for winter if I can get these wheels to run nicely now.

I put some Monroe econo-matic coil overs in the front over the weekend, wasn't much fun with rusted up upper balljoints. I have new rear springs coming so I can put those on next weekend. I might get yelled at for getting the monroes but they are much better than the stock ones or what was left of them
