Great news! There's a time and a place for almost everything and it looks like the Rusty's may have found it's place :)

Well it's been two years since I measured the lift, sitting right at 21 inches. The shocks seem to be holding up and it still rides great. Still no off roading, just my wifes daily driver and definitely still the coolest looking liberty in town.

This lift is still holding up and sitting at 21 inches at all four corners. The springs still look good but the shocks have quite a bit of rust on them. Still rides good and still happy.

First good report I have ever heard on them.
The Rustys full spring I installed for a friend , rear shocks lasted less than a year and it sagged down to an inch over stock height in that year.
Funny part was this wasn't his DD and was only offroad one weekend
At least yours is still at 2 inches of lift

Been gone for a bit but the lift is 20 3/4 inches front and 21 rear.
Tried to order another Rustys lift but they are discontinued.

I am sure OME is better, but eight years later still no regrets.

Doesn't matter at this point, they no longer make it and OME is available and better so 10 years down the road will still have no regrets :happy175::happy175:

Rusty's front springs and shocks are off and OME 927/Bilstein combo installed.
And yes Tom it rides alot better. We don't regret getting the Rusty's. The Rusty's was stiff which I liked but the OME/Bilstein is smooth almost too smooth. Wife really likes it.

Rustys springs were only rated at 310 lb, same as Skyjackers
OME 927s are 400 lb

Night and day difference. Love the new OME front lift.
Now I need to figure out what I want to do with the rear suspension.

OME 948s and 132L OME shocks
Or JBA has some great adjustable rear shocks for 2.5 inch lifts ( you can adjust compression and rebound it's what I run on the rear of the 03 )

Wife just said she thinks it sits level and does not think I need to lift the rear any more. She likes the way it looks now.
It still has the 8 year old Rusty's lift. I need to at least get some new rear shocks.

Removing the old Rusty's rear springs and shocks tomorrow. I have the OME 948's and Bilstein 24-185240 to put in.

Just for the heck of it I put the eight year old Rusty's rear springs in my 07. Rear is at 21''.
That is the same height as the new OME 948's I just put in the wifes 02.

Maybe the same height BUT OMEs are way better in the long run

I ordered another set of Bilstein 24-139168 for the front of my 07. I'm going to use them with the Rusty's springs from my wifes 02.
