Spacer lift and Sport VS Renegade issue.

Here is my post and question.

2002 Jeep Liberty Renegade 3.7

I'm looking to do a 2-2.5" spacer lift initially and decided on OME and do have a question. I did search other companies.. RC, RE (on my other Jeeps), a few other Ebay lifts.. My question is.. Are there a different between a Liberty Sport, Limited, and the Renegade as far as struts and their mount plates? Some companies tell me that their lifts are not for the Renegade and that it has a completely different strut assy.. If someone can point me in the right direction.. I'd appreciate it.

OK first stay away from any type of spacer lift period
Next stay away from Skyjacker, Rustys ( spring rates same as stock and sag quickly ) and RRO.
NOTE: what may work on other Jeeps does not always work on a KJ/KK

Now that leaves you with OME pretty much and what most everyone runs.
Next there is no difference between models at all.
Only difference was before April 12, 2002 they were 3/4 of an inch higher.
Other than that all are the same shocks and springs except of course CRDs front springs are different.
Also we do not have struts, we have a coilover assembly due to the fact we have UCA's , anything with a strut does not.

Now what is your budget and possibly we can help you out.

I ended up picking up a set of 2" lift springs from a guy who never got to install them. Does anyone have part numbers for the rear shocks that work with the lift?

I went with the BDS kit without rear shocks. I am working on a set of shocks with a builder friend of mine but am running OME Nitro ATM.
