You need to add load resistance into the circuit since LEDs have none. I just deal with it. Doesn't bother me in the least.

They do not stay dimly lit or flicker when off and are bright as hell when on (maybe even too bright up front to be honest).

Stick with the recommended incandescent bulb.Problem solved.

You can tie in a incandescent bulb to the wiring to use it as a load resistor. Just gotta put it somewhere it won't catch anything on fire.

I bought the ones I linked below from Amazon and have been using them in both front and the rear dome lights for several months now. They do not stay dimly lit or flicker when off and are bright as hell when on (maybe even too bright up front to be honest). 2 for $12.

Bought a number of these a while ago and they all stay dimly lit in my 05. Wired a regular incandescent bulb so they'd be less bright but still stay lit. Bright as can be though

I changed all the interiors to led they do stay dimly lit but once you shut off the kj and lock it they turn off completly after like 30seconds. The dim light isnt to bright while driving at night to bother me.

To each their own, but I have yet to have a problem with the stock incan bulbs for the dome lights or map lights... and I rarely like incandescent lighting.

I didn't have issues with mine either, but after installing the LEDs I'm very glad I did. Much easier to see stuff at night if you drop something and they make the interior look nice. Very crisp, white light looks so much better than that yellow look incandescent gives.
