Who would be kind enough to dig up a how to for replacing front wheel bearings for me?
And no I didn't do a search as I'm on my iPhone and for some reason the search function won't work for me.
Also, who sells Timken or SKF wheel bearings for a really good price?
The front wheel bearings are finally in need of replacement (on the passengers side but I replace shit in pairs so I'll do both front wheel bearings?)
Must be those wheel spacers I'm using!
Actually it's 260,000.0 km / some 161,500+ miles and I shit kick this thing off road.

For the search function on iPhone, try going advanced. My iphone does the same thing, but on advanced search it does fine.

Hi Ry,
Just replaced mine a few weeks ago and got great service and good Timken bearings from Rockauto. Can't praise them enough and remember I am in the UK. Ordered on a Friday at 10 pm UK time and arrived at 11 am UK time on the monday morning all the way from the good ole US of A!!!!! I have added a link from Ian (Ptsb5a) and it was right on the money! Ryan - not sure on roller vs ball, but mine have been holding up great. My OE ones shit the bed within about 34k miles. These have been on for 40k miles and have been great.

Ordered from RockAuto back in 2009 - definitely far cheaper than anyone else I could find!

I'm checking Rock Auto for Timken front Axle Bearing/Hub Assemblies and see they only list them for ABS equipped KJ's.

Will these fit a Non ABS Equipped KJ?

I am aware that it's a name brand, but they are the ones recommended as first choice here on this forum,
SKF second choice.
OEM as third choice.
Here at the local Chrysler dealer OEM retails for $507.00 each, so they are out of the question!

I just called Rock Auto and the sales rep called Timken, the Timken Axle Bearing and Hub Assembly that Rock Auto sells
"Will Not Fit A Non ABS Equipped KJ."
Looks like I'll be buying SKF...

Have you ever done a job like this? It can be a pain in the butt on Jeep's with a solid front axle Dana 30. I'm not sure if the set up is the same with a Dana 30a on the KJ (thats what its called right under the KJ?) The hardest part is getting the hub's off if they have never been off from the factory.. I recommend a can of PB blaster and a BFH.. before I put the new hub's on I coat the fawk out of the mating surface's with anti-sieze Again though I have never torn into a KJ front end, only had to deal with Dana 30's that aren't IFS.. I also live in a rust belt too..
