Commitment to Jeeping

So this afternoon as I was finishing up a pair
of eye to stem adapters for someone
1 of the guys in the shop told me that my commitment
to Jeeping was a "bacon and eggs commitment"
(Scratched my head)
He went on to explain that the chicken only participates
in the breakfast but the pig is committed
He told me I was like the pig "committed"
I asked him "why? Because only a nut job would
weld up brackets for some one else when it is 100* out?"
He said "yes and no, yes because it is 100* out and no
because you would do it if it were 70* or -20*"

I got to thinking
Very few people are like the pig in the Jeep world
What are you?
I know some are just there to eat

But I guess you are commited to help someone else that way with jeeps, and you are still here on a KJ forum even after you sold yours. You are commited.

Anyway, I like jeeps, and jeepin so I am commited I guess. My KJ is the pig.....haha

And I like bacon and eggs too.

Of all the 4-wheeled vehicles I've owned, the KJ is my favorite. That being said, I'll probably have to admit that I'm a chicken. The KJ does exactly what I need a vehicle to do. If my hobbies or situation changes, my vehicle most likely will also.

i'd have to regretfully say that I'm the chicken... i love jeeps, MY JEEP ESPECIALLY. I love workin on it, fixin broken crap and puttin on new crap that makes it different than any other jeep around my home town. BUUUTTTTT.... I baby the hell out of it cuz its all I got and I plan to get a whole lot more out of it.

When it blows up... i'll drop a fresh power plant in and drive it like i stole it.... balls to the wall. But i'm not hoping for that time to come anytime soon.
