4.10 Gears

Idk if this is posted somewhere else, but I'll go ahead and ask.

I'm looking at going to 4.10 gears, if I did, where would be the cheapest place to get a quality kit? I've thought about going OEM, but I'm not sure.

You have to go OEM for the front,only Dana/Spicer makes the D30A gears.

Shop around - I got mine from a few sources and was able to save some money. Or if you're looking for one stop shopping, then go for JBA.

Just as an FYI, the local dealerships here sell the rear for $850.00 and the front for $970.00!

Gear set prices have doubled in the last few years.When I did my 4.10 swap in '06 my rear Yukon 4.10's was $170 for the set,now there like $360+ for a set.

Yeah, big difference in price alright!
Compared to what they sell for here, I think I did alright!
