2 Hi / 4 Hi

I have an 06 KJ Renegade. I recently had it in 4Lo and when I tried to put it back to 2, it stayed in 4Hi. So basically now when I have it selected in 2Hi it is in 4Hi, and when I pull it up to 4Hi, its in 2Hi...any suggestions?

Don't believe the lights on the dash they get confused
If the gear selector is in 2wd then that is 2wd
The t-case will not get confused

Yup...just tested it out to make sure my t-case was still normal. So my light is backwards. Any fix for this?

There is a sensor or switch thing that people clean
or replace to fix your problem
I have never done it but many have
