Bear with me please, is it bad for a liberty to be that deep in water? ....

It can be. In that picture it shows the jeep driving very fast through water. This is dangerous as it creates a wake that actually pushes more water up over the grill. I always drive slowly through water, usually in 1st gear/low range and have never had a problem. Here is from last weekend.

no they are $350 from DPG Off-Road, the owners name is Dirk, and he si the only person in the US that sell the snorkels for the KJ his number is 316-776-9900

he is a good guy he is also a ARB dealer b/c I bought my OME HD coils from him

Let me say that 2 weeks after this pic was taken, I went back to this location and went in deeper water (100 yds away from here beyond a dam) and had water coming up over the hood...i was nervous but she got thru it no problems, and the airbox intake was dry, only part of the vehicle that was dry. didnt get pics tho :(

Just as I was dropping into a hole about 3 feet ahead of where I am. I dropped a foot or so...tires went out of sight SHOCKED.gif and promptly dropped the camera and got on the wheel.
