So ive been using the daystar lift but with ranchos up front, It was making some groaning when the springs got compressed. So i took them apart for the millionth time everything looks unworn except the dust gaurds. i didnt listen when i installed them and left the dust gaurds on. well they look like a crushed beer can now. so here are my choices, i got ome light duty springs with clevis lift, or i can go back to daystar without a clevis lift. Im hoping the groaning was just the destroyed dust gaurds.

heres the dust gaurds

and heres the two different suspension setups. the OME looks a full inch smaller and only 40lbs heavier of a spring. Im sticking with daystar pucks in back with stock springs. The springs on the daystar lift are 02 springs with 125k on them. I would really hate to lose height

I already did that.

I would use the OME springs over the springs with 125K on them. They might be Light Duty but I can guarantee the stock springs sag. Maybe not when they are out of the Jeep but still.
