Are Stock Grille Inserts Removable?

I want to make my grille look better. I decided I want to paint the inserts silver to match my lower part of my front bumper and make them stand out a little better. I was wondering if the stock inserts came out so that I could paint them without tapping anything off then put them back in. Does anyone know if they do come out?

Mine do on my 04.

yeah, the black plastic "grille" is just snapped onto the back of the major painted surface of the grille. You can paint them, but make sure you do all the proper prep work... sand the surface and then clean with alcohol and tac free cloth. Then paint away.

Could you give me a quick run down on how they might come out?

You need to remove your grill,they are simply snapped on the back of the grill.

Well I took off my grille today and was looking at it but I can't take it all the way off with out taking my fog lights off which I didn't want to do right then so I thought I'd ask but thanks!
