Mine rides better with the OME Heavy Duty springs than it did stock!

Why would you want to lower a 4X4?
Seems like quite the waste if you ask me.
You will on the other hand get a better ride/handeling if you fit an after market lift kit.

Heck, since you wanna drop it might as well put 22's and some chrome on it. If you want a better highway ride you should probably throw on some OME springs and Rancho shocks. Probably cheaper anyway.

I would think it would ride worse if you lowered it. I raised mine and it rides alot better.

You may want to check over at the LOST board if you wont get flamed like crazy for asking. I'd like to help you, but honestly I have no idea. There was someone who briefly had decent looking 22s on there that may have lowered it, but I can't recall who.

^Have you tried adjusting the door(If you have an opener)? Usually you can adjust how far they open the door, I know you can on ours.
