Wrong Radio/AC control bezel

I have an 02, and went on ebay and bougth the aluminum/chrome bezel from an 03+
It wont fit, I thougth it was the same, but the inside has some plastics that touches the bezel.

has anyome made it fit on yours?

Or does anyone has one and willing to trade?

Whats different on the back? If there is just a few molded spots that are different could you do a little fancy dremel work and make it fit?

I have an 03' so thats the only one i have seen bezel wise, haven't compared to an 02' at all.

They should all be interchangeable as far as fit and the tabs go, just the screw hole sometimes doesn't line up (02 in an 04). You sure it just isn't going in right?

The front of the bezel is the same, the pins are located in the same place. but the bottom of the bezel, the storage area is too wide, compared to the one on the 02, that has the ash tray.
The place where the bezel sits has some molded areas that wont let it sit.

And yes, I migth end up doing some trimming to make it fit.

I didn't have any problems, in fact the ashtray and extra outlet were handy to have.
