Would a regular sized tire fit in the spare tire spot?

Hello, I have a 2012 Liberty Jet with a spare donut-type tire that fits under the back end. I need to replace the spare tire I have but a new one is proving to be hard to find. I've looked at a few auto wreckers so far, but first, I want to know if its possible to fit a regular full sized tire in that spot? My current spare is a T17S/90D17 size (I think).

Yes, a full size spare will fit. In fact, I have 245/75R16’s (30.5” diameter) and they even fit.

Yes. Get a matching rim and a matching tire and you can do a 5 tire rotation every 6000 miles. Your tires will last 25% longer.
