It better. It's quite evident that nobody wants to have anything to do with the Plymouth Grand Cherokee unless it's packed with rebates. lol3.gifgrogiefrog said:Marlon_JBT said:Hey! Jeep.com/crd used to be for us! Grr!
Yes, I noticed that. Well, hopefully the KK will have a CRD too.
And it'll be able to be rebuilt as well. Once the Mercedes engine is dead (and from their recent quality ratings... might happen sooner than later), the engine is dead. You have to buy a new one. It's also not meant to be in a heavy duty vehicle such as a Jeep. VMMotori and Cummins engines are built for Jeeps and Trucks.Wait 'till 2010 (or, maybe, 2009) when they start putting the new Cummins 4.2 V6 in the Grand Cherokee. It'll blow the doors off the Mercedes CRDs.
The Cummins 4.2 V6 (and its sibling 5.6 V8) already meet the projected 2009 emissions requirements for all 50 states.
With or without the use of particulate filters or ammonia / urea injection?
