Hey! Jeep.com/crd used to be for us! Grr! They didn't even really change the page. It just says Grand Cherokee now.

Oh well, I get better mileage anyway. HA!

Yes, I noticed that. Well, hopefully the KK will have a CRD too.
It better. It's quite evident that nobody wants to have anything to do with the Plymouth Grand Cherokee unless it's packed with rebates. lol3.gif

I predict poor sales this time around. Nobody's gonna pay $5000 for an engine option.

Yes, it is a bit expensive, although I'm waiting for it to show up on Jeep.com for sure. At least with the KJ, they packaged it with ABS, Selec-Trac, etc. And the engine block heater! \:D/

They could have at least changed the fuel gauge to the Grand Cherokee's fuel gauge! Instead what did the lazy web designers do? Oh just reused the one from the Liberty!

Wait 'till 2010 (or, maybe, 2009) when they start putting the new Cummins 4.2 V6 in the Grand Cherokee. It'll blow the doors off the Mercedes CRDs.

And it'll be able to be rebuilt as well. Once the Mercedes engine is dead (and from their recent quality ratings... might happen sooner than later), the engine is dead. You have to buy a new one. It's also not meant to be in a heavy duty vehicle such as a Jeep. VMMotori and Cummins engines are built for Jeeps and Trucks.

I can't believe what I just saw today going West on I-94.

TWO TRUCKLOADS OF GC CRDs!!!! TWO!!! Not one Jeep, not one truck, TWO TRUCKS!!!

I've only seen ONE Liberty CRD on a truck, and I think it was mine, lol
