Hi all! We're getting our 2002 Jeep Liberty LTD ready to tow 4-down behind our RV. The missing link at the moment is wiring...

Looks like we're going to go for the 7-pin setup from the RV - that gives us extra pins for trickle charging the Jeep's battery while towing (plus a couple of extra pins for other towed stuff later).

I haven't found a dedicated all-in-one kit, so I'll have to put the pieces together (including diodes, and all that fun stuff). Anybody else on the forum rigged your own wiring for your Liberty (not just the standard 4-pin kit)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

No that's NOT what the OP wants .

My Libby was a Toad in it's prior life. I removed everything. It just had brake control and rear lights. They used a generic set of trailer wires for the lights. A 7 pin plug, but didn't use but 3 or 4.

Camping World or a local RV shop will have everything.

Mopar offers a complete 7-pin harness...
