wire routing from door to dash tweeters

has anyone here ever installed aftermarket tweeters in the stock locations? i have the door speakers in and im doing the dash tweeters but i have to run the wires from the door speakers (they have a built in crossover) into the dash and i would prefer to run them through the rubber boot connecting the door to the chasis but i cannot seem to find where the wires come into the dash from that boot...please help

The wires don't route from the door to the dash. The x-over is built into the speaker? Weird. If you really have to go from the door to the dash (weird) the easiest thing to do is run a new wire from the door, through the boot and to the dash location. Careful use of a coat hanger can get the job done in 5 mins. I use a wire snake with robo grip which is far less likely to cause damage to other wires.
