I just got an 04 KJ and want to put wider rims and tires on it. What can I do with original ride hight? I may do a Daystar 2.5 but that's it. Just to level it out and get a better look. Not going to be off road. I have 16x10 rims but they are 5-5.5 so I would be using Adapters to.

2004 and sagged suspension , only run stock sized tires and original wheels
Daystar ??? You mean Crapstar HUGE waste of money!!! With stock springs that are weak from the get go and already sagged its a very bad way to go.
16X10 WAY , WAY too wide to run even with a 4 inch lift!
Plus the adapters in there sticking the tire out more, well I guess you could drive straight and NEVER turn
Plus there is no tire that you can run that you need that wide of a wheel
Basically give up on running them, never going to happen and be anything more than a lawn ornament

To the OP: This is an ongoing joke between us. Listen to Tom - he knows what he's talking about. :party52:

You have 9 feet of lift?! Thems purty small wheels and tires for a monster truck, aren't they?!:cool:

Its the size he uses to get it on the trailer to haul it to work, then unloads, installs the "big boy" tires so it looks good in the parking lot all day long.:icon_lol:
